EESI Congressional Briefing
Building Materials: From Production to Reuse
In December 2021, I was invited by the Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI) to give a presentation on the circular economy and the built environment to members of the US Congress. The event was open to the public and attended by NGOs, researchers, construction stakeholders, and the general public. I was honored with such an amazing opportunity! My presentation focused on the role of policymakers in enabling circular built environments. You can also watch the presentation in the video above (minute 23, although I highly recommend watching the presentation of Jordan Palmeri, who presented before me). If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I love to discuss this topic!
